I'll admit I never heard the song. I read the lyrics from a blog recently, and I thought up the idea of putting the coin operated boy on the spot.

The song is based on the girl owning one. mine is based on the coin operated boy's questions of his well being.

You noticed that; so that was cool.

Hah, yeah, my friend's pretty much obsessed with the song, so I recognized it.
